Payment Policy

How payment works at Marrow & Hide: what we accept, when you're charged, and what happens if something goes wrong.
Accepted payment methods
Any method shown at checkout. That currently includes:
- Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Diners Club
- Apple Pay and Google Pay
- PayPal
- Shop Pay
The list at checkout is the one that counts. If a method isn't shown there, we can't take it.
Currency
Everything is priced and charged in US dollars (USD). If your card is in another currency, your bank handles the conversion and may add its own fee.
When you're charged
In full, when you place your order. We don't offer cash on delivery or part payments.
Taxes, duties and extra costs
Any sales tax is shown at checkout before you pay. Shipping is free. Import duties are built into our prices, so you shouldn't be asked for anything on delivery. What you see at checkout is what you pay.
How your card details are handled
Payments are processed by Shopify Payments and the other providers above over an encrypted connection. We never see or store your full card number.
If a payment is declined
Usually it's a typo in the card number or expiry date, a billing address that doesn't match your card, or your bank blocking an online purchase. Check those and try again, or use another method. If it still won't go through, your bank can tell you why. We can't see the reason. No money is taken on a declined payment.
Order checks
All orders are screened for fraud. Now and then we may email you to confirm a detail before shipping. If we can't verify an order, we cancel it and refund it in full. We will never ask for your full card number, PIN or banking password.
Pricing mistakes
If something was listed at the wrong price by mistake, we'll contact you before shipping. You can pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund. We'll never charge you more than you agreed to.
Refunds
Refunds go back to your original payment method, within 3 business days of your return reaching us. Your bank then takes 3 to 10 business days to post it. Full conditions are in our Return & Refund Policy.
Cancelling
Email us quickly. If the order hasn't shipped, we cancel and refund it in full. If it has, the normal return process applies.
Disputes and chargebacks
If something looks wrong with a charge, please contact us first. We reply within one business day and can usually fix it much faster than a bank dispute.
